Stephanie Torres

My name is Stephanie Torres and I am a resident of Bayonne and a graduate of Bayonne High School. I am a Sociology Major with a Non-profit and Urban Development concentration with minors in Communication Studies and Economics. I aspire to travel the globe as a missionary spreading the love of Jesus Christ. I also aspire to get involved in public policy to better the educational system for poverty stricken areas in America.
I am a member of Gospel Choir Ministries, where I serve as Hospitality Chair and New Jersey Christian Fellow, leading a weekly Small Group. I am also a member of Fresh Springs International Family Worship Church in Ewing, New Jersey.
I feel honored to be a Harcourt Scholarship recipient. It has given me the opportunity to gain an educational experience here at TCNJ. I absolutely enjoy my college experience and receiving the Harcourt Scholarship was the icing on the cake. It is a great honor for me to be in the company of talented, intelligent, and successful Harcourt Scholars.
